Armchair - "Krásná jizba"

Družstevní práce ("work association) was cultural and social organisation (1922-1957) in Czechoslovakia. The association was set in 1922 in Prague. It was concentrated on association of designers, manufacturers and distributors of useful art and modern design (mostly concentrated on mass consumption products for the widest masses of people). These firstly theoretical efforts had eventually ended up into the business company called "Krásna jizba" set up in Prague (other affiliates in Brno or Uherské Hradiště). Company was selling products, which concerned difficult requests for funcionality and design. Furthermore, company tried to advert on the new lifestyle and the highest aesthetical criteria.
